What is the Difference Between Fine Lines and Wrinkles?

What is the Difference Between Fine Lines and Wrinkles?

What is the difference between fine lines and wrinkles? Can fine lines become wrinkles? What causes fine lines and what causes wrinkles ? These are questions that our skincare formulators ask themselves to be able to create the right products for you.

We believe that you need to know the difference between wrinkles and fine lines.  The more you know about your skin, the more you will be able to protect it from premature aging.

Fine lines are usually smaller and not so deep, unlike wrinkles which are deep and usually larger and more visible. Fine lines are usually caused by photoaging. Photoaging is premature aging that develops when skin is repeatedly exposed to UV rays (such as sun exposure). Fine lines usually appear around the eyes, forehead and lips.

Wrinkles are deeper than fine lines and are part of the aging process.  However, facial movements like squinting and scowling and sleeping in poor positions are other things that contribute to wrinkle formation.

You can easily determine whether you have wrinkles or fine lines. One of the easiest ways to know is your age.  If you are under 30 you more likely have fine lines, and they are mostly around your eyes. But if you are over 30 you more likely have both wrinkles and fine lines.

Even though wrinkles and fine lines are part of the aging process, you can help slow down this process and help prevent premature skin aging.

The amount of collagen and hyaluronic acid in your body can play a huge role in the appearance of your skin.  The more you protect your skin and nourish it with essential ingredients, the more your skin will look healthier and younger.
Regularly using skin care products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and Matrixyl 3000 will help you stop the clock and slow down the aging process. It is  always smart to know more about your skin and what it needs to maintain healthy, and young looking skin.
